A cross dyke that extends for about 570metres across/along the ridge of Cleeve Cloud, the ditch varies between 3 - 5 metres wide.

Although continuous with no signs of any original routes across it, the construction of the cross dyke varies suggesting different phases of construction.

The cross dyke is marked on Ordnance survey maps, and is visible on the ground as an earthwork, when visiting be aware that the cross dyke goes across part of Cleeve Hill golf course.
