This
is a huge roughly circular ring of about 42.7m (140-foot) E-W by 40.5m (133-foot)
dimensions. Like its neighbour Fernacre not too far to the east,
its stones are irregularly spaced. Most are small, with the tallest 1.1m (3 feet 9 inches)
located at the south. Its siting between two streams but away from extensive settlements
to the WSW ENE and NW suggest a ceremonial function for the circle.
