Henge with a church built in the middle, which must point to early "Christianisation" of a pagan temple.

There are actually three henges here, as shown in detailed research done by students of Bournemouth University, who have published preliminary results on the web. This site is so detailed I won't elaborate more here.

Personal: When I visited the ruined church was partially boarded up, with graffiti bemoaning the fact.
