Two solitary stones in the north of the Orkney Mainland, near the
village of Birsay. The first, shown above has an amazing view out over the Brough of
Birsay, a tidal island contaning ancient settlements of several ages, including Norse.
Access: The stones are in a private field, not far from the road.
