A collection of stone rows, running
almost parallel in a fan-like arrangement. This sort of stone row is virtually unique to
the far north of the Scottish mainland.
There are many prehistoric remains in the area, making as significant a ritual landscape as Orkney.
Right is a ruined broch that stands nearby, on the other side of the loch.
Access: Very difficult to find, even with a map. Realising I was on the wrong side of the loch, and the other side was very marshy, I took the above telephoto shot of the row and gave up. Unless you are very dedicated, stick to the more impressive Hill O' Many Stanes nearby.
Rating: General Impression 2, Ambience 3, Access 0
Personal: Nearby I photographed the ruined crofts pictured on my home page.
