The tallest of the few remaining standing stones on Guernsey. Once I expect there
were many but there are so many houses now crowded onto the island that I expect most were
chopped up for building material long ago unfortunately.
This stone is 3.5m tall, and there is a further 1m buried in the ground. It weighs an amazing five tons.
Access: Difficult to park nearby, as the main road is quite busy and narrow. Perry's guide map square 21E3
Rating: General Impression 3, Ambience 3, Access 2
