A rather
sad looking few stones that are the remains of a very grand tomb indeed, one with nine
capstones. Legend tells that the rest of the monument was broken up, loaded on ships
an used for local building. The ships sank carrying the cargoes of stone, and horrible
things befel Mr Hocart, the culprit, and his houses. According to the Kinnes guide book
the story has been substantially verified by folklore expert Sri Edgar MacCulloch.
