The Stallogargo sacrificial site is a natural rock outcrop with a tall and sharply pointed look. It is located just one hour of driving away from the town of Hammerfest, officially the northernmost town in the world. It was worshipped as a symbol of a god of the Sami people. They would to sacrifice at this place for good hunting and especially good fishing.

Along with the other old rituals. The sacrificial gifts were placed in a natural crack in the rock side some meters below the Stallogargo itself.

A friend of mine that comes not far away from this place told me to say greetings to this stone when I went there, because it has always been a tradition in her family to do so when they passed it, believing not to do so would bring bad luck. I mention this because I want to show that the old customs and superstition is still living on in these places.

The climate here is nasty because of the strong winds and the cold air.
