EventsWe don't usually put bands in our main news but this is a bit special. Sister Wives are a fantastic, psych, heavy, stone-tinged band from Sheffield and Wales who are playing in London for the first time. 6th April, Shacklewell Arms London, FREE. Organised by Baba Yaga's Hut. The band are ancient site enthusiasts like us, in the photo here they are at Creswell Crags and they have a song about the witch there. They named their album Y-Gawres and have also done promotional and cover photos at Arbor Low.
Tickets are via Dice.fm - hope to see you there if you can. Sister Wives are also playing in Brighton and regularly play gigs and festivals in the north of England and Wales so catch them there otherwise. Image submitted by Andy B

Ben is a reader in Sociology and the Megalithic Portal was there to record it (and drink some Stone Club beer). Ben's forthcoming book is Back to the Stone Age: Race and Prehistory in Contemporary Culture. Who are we? Where did we come from? What are we like? These questions are alive in contemporary culture. EventsThe prehistoric meets the present with our first informal Zoom meeting. Isolating when you can is still good and pubs and the like are unlikely to be open for some time. A chance to meet some of the faces behind those posts and feel less isolated. Portal Founder Andy B will start things off with a short live tutorial then it's a free for all to talk or just listen. It won't be much like the attached photo, and hopefully with a few more people, but we can dream and talk of past visits. Image submitted by AngieLake
