Description
In homage to TheCaptain's "having a pint" photo (The red face was from the heat of the day, not the drinking ha ha)

A very happy man! (Lucky you weren't driving over Dartmoor this morning... it was flooding with the torrential rain, new streams forming on the grass by the roadside near Bellever Tor... On my way back from night in Tavistock after family wedding.) Probably the worst weather I've ever driven in .

The granite just doesn't let the water go anywhere fast when it chucks it on on Dartmoor does it? Glad you were OK though, It sounds awful, I've never driven myself, it's all walking and public transport for me, I've never felt safe enough to drive and also because of the pollution, I might be tempted in the future with an electric car though, Imagine how many places i'd get to then? ha ha

Good to see you enjoying the surroundings Paul. Its about time I got myself down that way again, perhaps I should look to staying here assuming its all open again

Thanks, it was a lovely pint(s), Yes it's all open, The couple who were staying in the room above were telling me about the four foot of the stone that they could see in their room, I couldn't bring myself to say "Can i have a look at the stone in your room?" ha ha, Now i'm imagining your phonecall "It's definitely the room with the top of the stone in it, isn't it?" Someones got to get the photo of the top four foot haven't they?

It's incredible how many places you've visited on foot, bus or bike! I'm surprised the couple didn't invite you in to look at the top of the stone. Go on Martyn, but wait til the weather is settled!
