Description
SX587694 Down Tor Stone Circle, Dartmoor Devon. I've just finished a weeks holiday on Dartmoor and visited 14 different sites. This particular site is one of my favourites not just because of the magnificent circle and row but because the walk out from Burrator Reservoir is so beautiful. The view is looking east-north-east and a long stone row goes up the centre of this picture some way up the hillside. Above the end of the row to the left is an enclosure and a cairn. Burrator Reservoir car park is behind me to the west just over a mile away.
