It would seem strange that a stone which gets used in a pilgrimmage ritual of circling the stone, would get destroyed, but all records I can find of La Jument Blanche of Locronan state that it has been destroyed.

Difficult to tell, the Breton name for the stone (ar Garzec-Venn) would put it to the place a km or so SW of the village, where we have this site, with picture from GinnynJohn. But that doesn't look like the same stone to me - that one looks smaller.

Well if none of the other large stones near Locronan look like this then there's a reasonable chance it is. That's an exciting prospect.
