Buttern Stone Circle SX 6494 8848
Several of the stones of this circle have been worked by stone cutters and almost all are fallen. It is 25m dia. Five stones are standing of about 23
that are present. The tallest standing stone is 0.6 m high. Records suggest that there was a small cairn within the circle to the S. Also there was a standing stone surrounded by a 20m dia stone circle
