Looking north at the most prominent barrow of the cemetery, from the edge of the Maiden Castle visitors' car park. The barrow can also be seen from the nearby Dorchester by-pass, a few weeks earlier I was passing by and the barrow seemed to be stood amid a sea of blue cornflower.
