I have recently retired from a 35 year career as a Laboratory Technician at a creamery. I have explored antiquarian sites from John O'Groats to Lands End. Cornwall is my favourite area in the UK due to the concentration of ancient sites and spectacular landscapes. I spent many happy weeks searching for Cornish Stone Circles, Standing Stones and Cairns. I recently had a successful week in Morbihan, Brittany. There are a multitude of sites to visit within a 20km radius of the famous Carnac Stone Rows. Locmariaquer is also an important megalithic centre.
