NGR: SN06093930 (Landranger map 145/Outdoor Leisure North Pembrokeshire map (No 35))
Located close to the centre of Newport in Pembrokeshire with public access. Although called a tripod dolmen four uprights exist - only two of which support the capstone (which is said to replicate the summit of Carn Ingli to the south).
Excavations have revealed cremated bone, Beaker and Grooved ware sherds.

A panoramic view of the Cockpit Stone Circle which according to Magicmap ‘includes a circular kerbed stone bank 2.8m -11.2m wide and up to 0.5m high which encloses an area approximately 27m in diameter. There are 27 (?) standing and recumbent stones set largely into the internal face of this bank, thereby creating the stone circle. Ancient Bronze Age village next to Serra Orrios temples. Ensemble of several dozen huts and central well. The huts were mostly round and would have had pointy roofs made out of a wood frame and covered in reeds. This is downtown!

Israel Antiquities Authority archaeologist Anna Ririkh shows the temple site and the altar used for religious rituals and practices, dated to the early monarchic period (9-10th century. BC) of the Judaean monarchy. The site was uncovered in Tel Motza near Jerusalem during rescue excavations. The findings include ritual pottery vessels, fragments of chalices and figurines of animals
