Log Text: The Pinnacles is a popular place to visit; and rightly so - it is truly amazing. You feel like you’re on a different planet, with jagged stones and rocks as far as the eye can see in every direction on the desert landscape.

You have to pay to access the site, as you drive round a marked track, but you can park at stopping places and walk around for a closer look. There is an information centre with an exhibition on the history of the place. Very interesting and grateful to be able to access this intriguing site.

Log Text: Easy to access on foot, right on the Ridgeway (parking nearby). Not much to add to what others have said, but it’s in a nice wooded area with fields all around. Trig point just along the footpath, could combine this with a longer walk down to Ginge and the Hendreds.

Log Text: A great site, although you can only access half of it. There's a large WWII pillbox at the bottom of the site, which is accessible. You can get to the open part of the hills via a number of footpaths.

Log Text: This took a bit of a long walk, and we walked past it at first - there was a lot of surface water, so looked like it was in a pond. Once we realised and looked closer, it was easier to spot. It's in a nice wooded area, will be going back when it's drier.
