This site confuses me a little, you have 2 fairly large flat panels of rock with various carvings, ranging from simple cup markings to the more elaborate design you see in this photo. The confusing bit is the different amounts of erosion on carvings that are within a few feet of each other, some are nearly completely worn, others still quite clear & sharp. The cairn at the top of the northern rows is about 9m in diameter, and is surrounded by a lovely ring of 15 stone slabs. It is possible that there is another ring of stones still present within the cairn.

Two stone rows at Hart Tor. Burl does list the Hart Tor double row in the gazeteer of his book
but it is under the section headed Avenues!
A double and a single row each originate from two of three cairns. The double
row is in good condition except at the lower end where tinning works have cut
into it. The double row SX 5770 7170 is 126 m long azimuth 76 & has about 80
surviving sones. The single row SX 5771 7169 is 61 m long az 60 & ha...

Log Text: A lovely double row with some substantial stones lading to well preserved cairn circle. Once can only guess this is an avenue to walk to the burial site which the cairn encircles.
