It has a reasonably well defined ring of stones around its perimeter.

Fourknocks submitted by kenwilliams on 19th Oct 2005. An extremely wide lens fits in just about the entire chamber, taken from the short passageway. Note the carvings on the free standing stone to the right.
The light is natural light from the ingeniously placed holes in the modern roofing.

Hart Tor north rows submitted by Brian Byng on 7th Feb 2002. Hart Tor north double row looking northeast
Two stone rows at Hart Tor. Burl does list the Hart Tor double row in the gazeteer of his book
but it is under the section headed Avenues!
A double and a single row each originate from two of three cairns. The double
row is in good condition except at the lower end where tinning works have cut
into it. The double row SX 5770 7170 is 126 m long azimuth 76 & has about 80
surviving sones. The single row SX 5771 7169 is 61 m long az 60 & ha...

The cairn at the top of the northern rows is about 9m in diameter, and is surrounded by a lovely ring of 15 stone slabs. It is possible that there is another ring of stones still present within the cairn.
This is the view to the west, looking down the double row.

Trowlesworthy West enclosure submitted by TheCaptain on 22nd May 2013. A little way from the downhill end of the western stone row is a circular enclosure, about 10m in diameter.
I am not sure whether this is some kind of settlement enclosure (too big for hut circle, too small for animal enclosure) or perhaps a ring cairn.
