Log Text: Very nice and long hiking trail with many different tumuli and reconstruction work. The information boards are something and have suffered a bit. Still one of the most beautiful archaeological hiking trails that can be found near Hamburg.

Fjenneslev-stenen submitted by kristiansen on 5th Jul 2018. Fjenneslev-stenen. is an oblong narrow stone with inscription on the narrow side which is about 63 cm.
The height of the stones is about 220 cm. and the width is maximum 126 cm.
The runic inscription beginning at the top of the stone and runs downward, and says “Sasser raised this stone and built the bridge". In Danish "Sasser rejste stenen og gjorde broen".

Log Text: The structure of the former ring wall castle can be seen very well in the landscape. Unfortunately there was fog during my visit. However, it was still possible to take good photos, as the facility is simply overwhelmingly large for its time in Denmark.
