Log Text: I was able to make find the correct stone. On my first visit I didn't immediately find the small private cemetery in the forest and mistook another stone for the 'Rillenstein von Daudieck'.

It was found in 1930.
Dated 1400 to 1250 BCE.

Log Text: This very well-preserved stone cist is located next to the local cemetery of Hagenah. The grave is already well signposted on the B74 in the village of Hagenah and the parking facilities at the cemetery can be used to approach the grave.

Log Text: The stone cist is well signposted from the street B71 in the village of Heerstedt and can hardly be missed. Park the car shortly beforehand and walk the last 300 meters to the cist is no big problem.

Log Text: Unfortunately, there are no easy parking spaces for cars nearby. The grave can be reached via a narrow little path that first leads to a private cemetery. The megalith grave is located directly behind it on the tumulus.

Area is called Hegebusch.
Marked as 'Stone Tomb' on the topographic map.
At least four boulders in a row look like capstones,
there might be a Chambered Tomb in the ground here.
Unfortunately, no further information.

Log Text: Since Holger Rix's visit in 2010, the remains of the megalithic grave have been heavily overgrown. The path is very difficult as there is no direct way to the megalithic grave. The forest is heavily used for forestry purposes, which makes the path even more difficult.

The endstone and the adjacent pair of uprights are preserved and most probably in situ. The original chamber-size is unknown.
According to Körner (in Sprockhoff, Ernst (et al.) – Atlas der Megalithgräber Deutschlands – Teil 3 Niedersachsen - Westfalen, Habelt, Bonn, 1975, p. 22) the only remaining capstone was out of place but moved back on the uprights in 1966. ...
