Log Text: I was able to make find the correct stone. On my first visit I didn't immediately find the small private cemetery in the forest and mistook another stone for the 'Rillenstein von Daudieck'.

Log Text: The tumuli in the northern part of the forest are very visible, while the southern tumuli are rather hidden and extremely shallow.

The Grabhügelfeld Neegenbargsheide is a barrow cemetery in the Neegenbargsheide heath in Schwanewede (Lower Saxony/Germany). The cemetery was most likely used from the late Neolithic to the Bronze Age. A double burial was discovered during excavations in 1956. It consisted of two treetrunk coffins that were covered with stones.

Log Text: Well preserved barrow cemetery. The tumli show traces of illegal excavations. However, some are still in fairly good condition in terms of their height and diameter.

Drei Berge Huegelgraeberfeld bei Berensch submitted by Harald_Platta on 11th Jan 2016. Drei Berge is a barrow cemetery in Cuxhaven (Lower Saxony, Germany).
The picture shows the Cuxhaven Grabhügel Nr. 21, which is the round barrow in the middle of the cemetery.
The area is only accessable in the winter because of the dense plant growth.
The barrow has a diameter of 19.0 m and is 2.0 m high.
