Vangsgård Runddysse submitted by Martin_L on 1st Jul 2010. Extended rectangular dolmen chamber built of 5 orthostats, covered by a large capstone. One pair of passage orthostats is preserved. The whole ensemble still is largely covered by its well-preserved round barrow, diameter appr. 20m, height up to 3.
Kerb-stones may be hidden by the eroded edges of the barrow. Scan of B/W photo taken in April 1991. The barrow was overgrown then.

Drei Berge Huegelgraeberfeld bei Berensch submitted by Harald_Platta on 11th Jan 2016. Drei Berge is a barrow cemetery in Cuxhaven (Lower Saxony, Germany).
The picture shows the Cuxhaven Grabhügel Nr. 21, which is the round barrow in the middle of the cemetery.
The area is only accessable in the winter because of the dense plant growth.
The barrow has a diameter of 19.0 m and is 2.0 m high.

Log Text: The tumuli show holes from excavations and are also heavily overgrown. However, due to their size, they are easy to spot in the field.

Grabhügelfeld Neegenbargsheide submitted by Creative Commons on 5th Oct 2017. The Grabhügelfeld Neegenbargsheide is a barrow cemetery in the Neegenbargsheide heath in Schwanewede (Lower Saxony/Germany). The cemetery was most likely used from the late Neolithic to the Bronze Age. A double burial was discovered during excavations in 1956. It consisted of two treetrunk coffins that were covered with stones.

Log Text: Well preserved barrow cemetery. The tumli show traces of illegal excavations. However, some are still in fairly good condition in terms of their height and diameter.
