Log Text: A museum that displays a large number of artefacts from both the prehistoric and the early and late times of our modern times (especially for the northern German region). Highly recommended for both adults and children! The heart of the prehistoric collection is the "Forum Gesseler Goldhort".

The largest preserved capstone measures appr. 4,1m x 2,7m. This capstone is supported by two orthostats of the southeastern longside. Largely overgrown with ferns, but with a good amount of the tumulus still visible, which however blocks view of uprights. End stone, appears to have rolled down tumulus, but makes a nice bench.
