Country: Germany (Lower Saxony, Bremen)
Visited: Yes on 10th Dec 2022. My rating: Condition 4 Ambience 3 Access 3
Dübberort Grab 1 submitted by AlexHunger on 11th Dec 2005. 18 Meters by 3 Meters large chambered tomb, with 5 good capstones. 140 Meters Altitude.
Largely overgrown with ferns, but with a good amount of the tumulus still visible, which however blocks view of uprights.
End stone, appears to have rolled down tumulus, but makes a nice bench.

Dübberort Tumulus submitted by AlexHunger on 11th Dec 2005. Large 15 Meter Diameter Tumulus. There are traces that someone already tried to dig into it. This sugest that there is no megalith underneath it.

Hence the original size of the chamber is unknown. According to the size of the pit resulting from destruction it may have had 2 or 3 capstones. Log Text: Wonderful museum - the parking facilities are a nightmare though. It's best to use a parking garage. The collection is well sorted for this. Unfortunately, a nicer ambience is somehow missing in some places. Otherwise I was completely satisfied with my visit!
