Wittstedt Steingrab submitted by Martin_L on 4th Jul 2012. From the South: Perfectly preserved passage-grave with 4 chamber-capstones and one passage-capstone situated in moorland west of the village Wittstedt.
Chamber size is appr. 6,5m x 2m. Clear size will probably be appr. 5m x 1,5m.
According to Sprockhoff (Sprockhoff et al., Atlas der Megalithgräber Deutschlands, Teil 3, p. 7) it was discovered comparatively late (around 1910). It was very overgrown by moorland then, so chamber type was hard to determine. Nevertheless Sprockhoff identified 4 ...

Soderstorf Steingrab submitted by Martin_L on 22nd Jan 2011. The passage-grave viewed from the East (Pole-aerial). The 8m long chamber is well preserved except for the intermediate stones and parts of the dry-walling, that filled in the gaps between orthostats and capstones.
