Ohrensen Steingrab submitted by Martin_L on 15th Jun 2010. Looking along the southern long-side (from a height of approx. 6m). The two “x” mark the ends of the remains of this large chambered and kerbed long-barrow measuring 48m by 7m . The chamber was located near the centre (marked with “C”).

Log Text: At a certain point there is no more fixed path, so you have to fight your way through nature. The stone grave is visible but not very clear because it is mostly overgrown.

Karlstein (Neu Wulmsdorf) submitted by Creative Commons on 20th Mar 2018. The Karlstein is an erratic boulder in Neu Wulmsdorf (Lower Saxony/Germany). The stone measures 1.9 × 2.5 × 2.2 m. It exhibits deep natural furrows and several chiseled horseshoe-like symbols. Flint stone tools were discovered at the boulder.

Log Text: Very nice and long hiking trail with many different tumuli and reconstruction work. The information boards are something and have suffered a bit. Still one of the most beautiful archaeological hiking trails that can be found near Hamburg.
