Glassel submitted by hamish on 10th Oct 2005. This is a delight, I didn't read the description by Cosmic so got quite lost. I found an old railway track and scaled the enbankment with the help of saplings and eventually found it. The lighting was perfect.

Great Menhir, The submitted by Adam Stanford on 3rd Mar 2005. Hambledon Hill hillfort submitted by JimChampion on 10th Jan 2005. December 2002. Looking towards the south at the impressive west-facing flank of Hambledon hill. The ramparts are clearly visible in this picture, and the grazing sheep give a sense of scale. The ramparts in the foreground drop away sharply - presumably as the result of a landslip.

Ile Guénioc submitted by thecaptain on 17th Jun 2006. Just offshore from Presqu'ile Ste-Marguerite near the town of Landéda can be seen Ile Guénioc.
This island, which is difficult to get to, has on it three massive cairns with their multitude of chambers and dolmens within them. In order to get here a boat is needed, and I think that landing on the island is controlled.

Kermario Dolmen submitted by thecaptain on 18th Oct 2004. Kermario Dolmen, north of Carnac, Brittany.
View of the Kermario Dolmen which is right at the southwest corner of the Kermario Alignements, and right in the corner of the road which skirts the site.
This picture was taken in 1987 when people were free to wander amongst the stones as they pleased. The terrible erosion caused by all the visitors is only too obvious.
