Chicanná

Chicanná submitted by davidmorgan on 3rd Feb 2009. Structure XX - this is the highest building at Chicanná, its layout is almost quadrangular, composed of two levels and oriented towards the cardinal points. The lower section has eleven rooms and the upper part four. The principal facade is on the south side. Xpuhil submitted by davidmorgan on 9th Feb 2009. Structure I - also known as the Building of the Three Towers. It constitutes an atypical example of the Rio Bec style due to the presence of the third, or central, tower. It has a maximum height of 18m and its centre line runs more than 53m along a perfect north-south alignment. From the site information board. (It looks a few degrees off on Google Earth).
