Tyana (Kemerhisar) submitted by AlexHunger on 3rd Oct 2007. The Warpalawas Stele. An 8th century BCE stele from the Neo-Hittite settlement in the village of Kemerhisar.
The artefact is now in the Ankara Museum. It depicts King Warpalawas of the Tyana Land praying.

The large building contemporary with the second building level (1920 - 1840 BCE) was constructed with wooden beams and large mud bricks on stone foundations, it consists of long and narrow store rooms and a central courtyard paved with flat stones.
