In the foreground of this photo there is a small concrete bollard which together with others around the perimeter of the site are suspected to denote the footprint of the original mound. Excavated in 1936 Early Bronze Age items were found although they represent a subsequent use of this neolithic site. September 2010.

Central stone partitions, like the spokes of a wheel, divided the house into sections.
