This nice covered dolmen is situated on the edge of the road between the city of Florac and the Causse Méjan (limestone plateau).
It has the reputation to protect against the whooping-cough if the sick person is lying on the capstone.

Site Type: Burial Chamber or Dolmen
Country: France (Limousin:Corrèze (19))

Estivaux dolmen submitted by thecaptain on 13th Feb 2006. To the east of the village of Estivaux, this dolmen can be found in a field near to the sports stadium and a new housing development, just about 50 metres from the road.
The support stones look to me to be quite new, perhaps an enthusiastic restoration job has been done, and it is all a bit too level. Unfortunately two of the support stones have been painted blue.
