Ville ès Nouaux submitted by Adam Stanford on 25th Nov 2004. Ville ès Nouaux which consisits of a Cist-in-circle and a Gallery grave on the outskirts of St Helier. Situated in St Andrews Park a fenced off circular area contains two tombs; the first is a gallery grave which is 11.5m long, 1.2m wide and lm high. Seven capstones are in place on the roof, but unfortunately two were lost in the 19th century when sand that covered it was excavated. Great Menhir, The submitted by Adam Stanford on 3rd Mar 2005. Another Menhir in a series of standing stones, perhaps forming part of a processional route, in St Ouen's Bay on the west coast of Jersey. A short walk from the Broken Menhir (approx 400m south of) at Grid: UTM 572496 is a 2m high granite block re-erected by The Société Jersaise in 1922 and known as the Great Menhir. Les Trois Rocques submitted by Adam Stanford on 17th Mar 2005. A group of 3 standing stones 250m north of the white Menhir and a Golf Course on St Ouen's Bay on the west coast of Jersey. Little evidence was found during excavations in 1913 and 1933, but these large pink granite boulders are surely associated with all the other Menhirs within the area. Superb Neolithic passage grave date between 4000 & 3250BC. 2 chapels, c15C, on top of pagan site . Great to go in and a good museum on the site.

Le Couperon submitted by Adam Stanford on 25th Nov 2004. Situated on the promontory at the east side of Rozel Bay in the NE corner of jersey, roofed with seven capstones and surrounded by 18 upright stones. It dates from approximately 3000BC and was covered with a long mound, but now is completely exposed as a result of poor excavation in the last century. The conglomerate stones form a rectangular chamber 8m long and 0.9m wide and 0.9m high, surrounding it is a rectangular enclosure. When it was excavated, potsherds and flints were found. Faldouet Dolmen submitted by attlebax on 16th May 2011. This site is well marked from the road and is on the Jersey map. The lane outside is narrow and has high banks so it is best to park just up the road. Not easy for any wheelchair users.

Serpent Mound, Keene submitted by eforrest25 on 20th Jun 2005. Serpent Mound in Keene, Ontario as viewed from surrounding walkway. This mound is quite different from the Ohio serpent and much more difficult to photograph. The Ohio mound has an elevated platform. There is no elevated location at the Ontario site.

Location: N 40 deg, 22min, 20.4 sec; E 49 deg, 21 min 20.2 sec.
This gravesite sits in the shelter of a hill and has several ruined building with square foundations nearby and an assortment of pottery.
Looking a bit like a dolmen I think this is the end section of a chambered cairn, one of two that I know of in Azerbaijan. Stones may have been reused for construction.

Göbekli Tepe submitted by AlexHunger on 1st Aug 2006. Segment D is one of the near circular shaped pillared areas in the best condition of Göbekli Tepe.
There are 5 more, usually smaller such pillared areas on this site, many of the pillars having elaborate carvings.
Göbekli Tepe is apparently a Pre Pottery Neolithic Temple dating back to about 9,000 BCE near the Euphrates in South Eastern Turkey.

in NNW-SSE orientation along the east border of the meandering river
Radegast, 4km NNW of the town Gadebusch.
It is a mixed forest, and you can enter it from the NNW end near Neu Benzin.
A small path leads you along the forests border, and you come along a number
of very old trees with almost 2m diameter.
