The endstone and the adjacent pair of uprights are preserved and most probably in situ. The original chamber-size is unknown. According to Körner (in Sprockhoff, Ernst (et al.) – Atlas der Megalithgräber Deutschlands – Teil 3 Niedersachsen - Westfalen, Habelt, Bonn, 1975, p. 22) the only remaining capstone was out of place but moved back on the uprights in 1966. ...

This megalithic grave is called Gevasteine, too. Geva was the wife of Duke Widukind, a famous saxon leader who fighted bloody battles against Emperor Carl the Great (Francs) around 780 A.D.
