One of the lateral paving stones suffered from the frost and from the erosion and deteriorated. It explains position tilted with the table.
The dolmen is visible from the road 300 metres of Peyre Gagès hamlet (in the North of Limogne town)

Dolmen de Pech-Lapeyre submitted by greywether on 4th Jul 2005. This is a photo of a dolmen known in the Lot Inventory as Lac d'Auris. It was signposted from the centre of Limogne-en-Quercy but, I think, simply as "Dolmen". Anyway, the notable thing about Lac d'Auris is the thickness of the capstone - almost 1m and weighing 17 tons. Apparently there is a quarry 300m away with a hole the size of the capstone.

Dolmen des Sanguinades submitted by theCaptain on 7th Jun 2012. Just off of the GR.36 footpath a couple of kilometres to the southeast of Varaire, in a field full of orchids can be found this little broken dolmen, which has the remains of its capstone fallen off the front of its side slabs.
