Oldendorf Langbett 4 submitted by Martin_L on 24th Jan 2012. Pole aerial view of 80m long barrows' north-western part. The barrow was believed to have no chamber, but Prof. van Giffen an his team (who were invited to examinate and excavate this site) discovered the passage grave chamber. It was well preserved except for the capstones.

Pailhemalbiau statue menhir submitted by thecaptain on 15th Apr 2006. This fine fellow stands 2 metres tall, and all his features can be clearly made out, both front and back.
He has two rings for eyes, but no nose or tattous on his face. Arms and fingers are clear, as is his "Objet" on its shoulder strap. His belt has a nice buckle, and his legs have all their toes clearly in place. He carries a weapon identified as a boomerang.

The burial chamber is a correct square, a Dolmen with two uneven pairs of stones on the long sides.
The capstones are still there, just pulled to the side.
