Menhir de Kerallain submitted by JohnGinny on 2nd Sep 2007. This took a number of attempts to find as there are no evident signposts, tracks or acknowledgments of this lovely 4 metre menhir.
South facing it is located in the middle of a cattle field in a beautiful situation, with views over the rolling central Brittany hills. The cross on top has been attached to the stone and does little to detract from form and symmetry of it.

Menhir de Duganaoud is also called "la Man Leva" in occitan language (" The Raised Hand " because it was the custom to raise a hand when one walked past this menhir by way of respect and of greeting.
