Windover Hill Flint Mines submitted by jonm on 28th Sep 2012. Several bowl shapes in area thought to be flint mines. A curious feature of each bowl is a slightly raised platform in front of most of the bowls. This platform in this picture located adjacent to the bowl at 50.80953N, 0.19037E

Combe Hill has an ancient Neolithic causewayed enclosure as well as Bronze Age barrows, this one quite literally on the peak of the eastern side of the hill.
