Log Text: I've logged the condition as a rampart/wall rather than a menhir. As a rampart, it's pretty much destroyed but you can still see the line it took by lining up the stones. Listed in the 1970-73 excavation report as "Rampart 5".

Log Text: Yet another visit. Walked directly from my front door in the middle of Redruth, to St Euny's Well, up to the North slope of the Carn. Worked my way up to Carn Brea Well and after a brief visit to the west summit and the Basset monument I spent most of my time on the East summit and the remains of the rampart on the Southern slope. Unfortunately, my camera somehow changed settings and the subsequent photos were a little over-exposed.

Zennor Hill and Carn Zennor

Zennor Hill and Carn Zennor submitted by rexh on 7th Mar 2012. This chamber-like tor has its side and cap stone and might well have been the prototype for the quoits nearby. Its 'capstone' has a solutions basin which has worn right through to become a ring stone similar to the holed stone used in the construction of the Men-an-Tol stone circle.

Almost 500 metre long stone bank structure, 5 - 8 metres wide and with facing slabs lining its edges, on the northern slopes of Rough Tor.
