Wendron South submitted by TimPrevett on 1st Nov 2002. Wendron / Nine Maidens Stone Circles SW683365 Parking in layby on the west side of the road opposite the footpath. The path was heavily rutted by cattle, indicating that if it was wet, this would be extremely boggy. Access is over a low point in the wall right next to the stones. Next time I visit I must read the guide books beforehand - two of the stones are actually set in the wall! One still in its original place, the other moved. Zennor Hill and Carn Zennor submitted by rexh on 7th Mar 2012. This chamber-like tor has its side and cap stone and might well have been the prototype for the quoits nearby. Its 'capstone' has a solutions basin which has worn right through to become a ring stone similar to the holed stone used in the construction of the Men-an-Tol stone circle.
