The Hurkling Stone
Date Added: 19th Aug 2013
Site Type: Marker Stone
Country: England (Derbyshire)
Visited: Yes on 1st Mar 2010

The Hurkling Stone submitted by MartinRS on 9th Aug 2013. The Hurkling Stone on White Edge Moor. A prominent rock outcrop on White Edge itself is often mistaken for the Hurkling Stone probably because the letter 'H' is near to this stone on OS 1:25 000 maps. The Hurkling Stone is in fact a boundary marker and can be found next to the letter 'e' in stone on these maps.
