While most orthostats are preserved only one capstone survived historic destruction. It is partly fallen and as an unnecesary act of official vandalism a "monument" sign has been attached (with screws...) to it.

Round barrow at the SW edge of a woodland located along the eastern side of Bottumer Kirchweg. Estimated remaining height 1,2m, diameter 12m. During growing season the barrow is heavily overgrown with grasses and heather. It is not signposted. A now overgrown track leading along the woodland from the east once was named „Am Hügelgrab“. Skeleton of a large passage grave of Drenthe-Emsland type. Oval enclosure partly well preserved. Missing stone in brackets. 20m long chamber is heavily damaged by explosives. The central capstones C4, C5, C6 and C7 remained, the others ae robbed. Entrance between orthostats of C6.

Two round barrows, diameter 15m. One of the rare sites in this area where round barrows are preserved in an open field setting. Both barrows are slightly damaged, but survive in an unploughed rectangular strip inside a field. Distance of barrows is only appr. 20m measured at their base.
