Langenrehm Steingrab submitted by Martin_L on 30th Aug 2010. Der Hohe Stein (“The Tall/High Stone”) – The large capstone C3 (counting from the NW) partly rests on orthostat SW4. The surface of the capstone shows two rows of toolmarks from historic destruction attempts.
The early morning ambience was overwhelming.

D8 Kniphorstbos submitted by Martin_L on 3rd Sep 2010. The well preserved and massive 4-capstone passage-grave viewed from the SW. It has a slightly trapezoid groundplan [1]: Width is 4,3m in the West and 3,6m in the East. Length appr.. 8m. The stone marked “P” is a remaining passage orthostat. The chamber is halfway filled with earth, but all chamber orthostats and capstones are in situ. The dry-walling is robbed (as usual in areas where there were/are no quarries).

D53 Havelterberg submitted by Martin_L on 10th Sep 2010. Pole aerial view from the SW. The 20m long skeleton of this 9 capstone passage grave is oriented ESE-WNW. Width varies from 3,7m to 4,4m [1] at the centre. The oval enclosure is largely robbed, but two fallen kerbstones are visible foreground right. Others are remaining, but largely covered.
"E" marks the lateral passage entrance.

D52 Diever submitted by Martin_L on 13th Sep 2010. The exposed skeleton (dry-walling and intermediate slabs robbed) of the partly reconstructed passage grave viewed from the North-East. The chamber is oriented SW-NE. The eastern part in the foreground is probably close to the original state, but the southwestern-part was quite disturbed [1] and the 1950s reconstruction is possibly incorrect. The stone visible to the left of the chamber was interpreted as the only remaining passage orthostat.
