Masterfully stylized bronze age carvings. Overview of panel Tanum T-248, measuring approximately 3m x 1,5m. Like most others, this panel is not prepared for regular tourist visits.
To ease the visibility of the carvings at some exposed tourist sites they are often painted red. In fact most panels are unpainted like this one. It must have been an enormous physical effort to carve these pictures into this hard granite surfaces. The bronze age people used glacier-sm...
