Isbister: Bronze Age House submitted by LizH on 18th Nov 2004. Isbister bronze age house or burnt mound
Probably a later site than the impressive tomb not far off. This was probably a boiling place, where hot stones were placed in water to cook.

Lochbuie Kerb Cairn
Date Added: 27th Mar 2016
Site Type: Cairn
Country: Scotland (Isle of Mull)
Visited: Yes

Lochbuie Kerb Cairn submitted by Nick on 2nd Nov 2003. Set in a group of trees around 100m NW of the stone circle, this rather ruinous kerb cairn still retains sufficient structure to make it worth a look. It is about 6.5m across, and has a 'false' entrance to the SE. The stones on the northern and southern arcs are still pretty much in situ.
