Gamelands submitted by nicoladidsbury on 2nd Feb 2005. Gamelands at Sunset. The grass in the field had just been cut for silage, and the stones lie is a long curved strip of high grass. You can just make out one of the stones nestling in the grass... (if you look really hard!)

Druids Temple (Cumbria) submitted by nicoladidsbury on 13th Feb 2005. View over Bigrigg Stone Circle, and across Morecambe Bay. A bitterly cold day, with showers blustering over, followed by splashes of sunlight. I managed to catch a fading rainbow, its hard to see on the photo however..

White Hag

White Hag submitted by nicoladidsbury on 29th Mar 2004. White Hag Hill Stone Circle The circle has eleven stones, and an outlier. It sits on the hillside above an enclosed area containing earth banks, looking very much like an abandoned hillfort, although there is nothing marked on the OS map. Also a fantastic ancient spring called "Kings Well".
