We biked away from the standing stones of Penrhos-Feilw, to see if we could get to the "Cytiau'r Gwyddelod" huts marked on the OS map. We spotted a small stone next to the boundry wall of a nearby house. OS Ref SH22828106. Possible ancient standing stone?

Clifton Stones submitted by nicoladidsbury on 31st Mar 2007. Clifton standing stones.
A beautiful pair of stones, near to the villiage of Clifton. Access is quite easy, the path from the farm has been improved. A circular walk is possible from Clifton, taking the footpath via Clifton Hall, where you can visit a well preserved Peel Tower, which has been resorted but apprears to have kept many of its original timbers. Stobo Kirk standing stone submitted by nicoladidsbury on 14th Oct 2007. Stobo Kirk
There is a very long stone in the fabric of the wall of the chapel. There is also a smaller long stone, which is the same colour. Could this be a fragment of the larger stone. And could this once have been a standing stone. There is a similar stone in the other wall. This is a very ancient site, and it is possible that St Kentigern chose is for his church because of its pagen importance, so it could be a standing stone. 2 miles to the NE are a pair of standing stones.
