Eglwys Gwyddelod Stone Circle submitted by Johnny on 1st Jan 2002. Eglwys Gwyddelod "The Irishman's Church" stone circle (OS 135; GR: SH 663 002) is a delightful small circle in beautiful surroundings. Five small stones and two stumps make up a circle 8m in diameter. At the centre of the circle is a quartz boulder which is believed to have been an original feature of the site.

Gwastadgoed submitted by Tom_Bullock on 24th Oct 2006. According to the www.megalithic.co.uk site, there are two standing stones at this site, which is what I found there. The stone at the N is 3–feet tall, while that at the N, 30 feet away, is 5–feet tall.

Log Text: The stone is in a field just off the B road that leads from the A493, west of Llanegryn to Tonfanau. Located slightly east of the foopath, it stands proud on a naturally raised platform on the north side of the Dysynni river valley. The stone is smooth and black in places and has a large crack or fissure on its east side.
