Dobrudden South 06

Dobrudden South 06 submitted by Rich32 on 25th Mar 2018. Carving recorded as Dobrudden South 06 and IAG146b in Keith Boughey's IAG Archive. Amazingly, despite being first recorded and published in the early 20thC, this rock became forgotten about in official records and wasn't included in the published version of 'Prehistoric Rock Art of the West Riding'. Image captured on 20 December 2006.

Dobrudden South 10

Dobrudden South 10 submitted by rich32 on 16th Sep 2004. Baildon Moor, Baildon, West Yorkshire SE1376639894 This large gritstone rock is situated just south of Dobrudden Farm. The large cups & grooves are well defined compared to other carvings on the moor. The furthest cup on the left, must be 2 inch deep at least. This is ref number 154 in Boughey & Vickermans ‘Prehistoric Rock Art of the West Riding’.

Ilkley Crags

Ilkley Crags submitted by Rich32 on 4th Feb 2019. Carving recorded as 'Ilkley Crags' on ERA (by the CSI: Rombalds Moor Project) and IAG266 in Boughey and Vickerman's 2003 publication 'Prehistoric Rock Art of the West Riding'. Boughey and Vickerman question the antiquity of this single cup and ring and I tend to agree. Its position in the landscape just isn't right and stylistically there's something not quite right. Image captured 19/8/2009.

Bois-Grand dolmen submitted by thecaptain on 5th Nov 2008. The dolmen has a large and thick capstone, sitting on top of a little chamber which has two side slabs and a back stone still nicely in place. The capstone looks much too large for the rest of the dolmen !
