Birkenmoor Dolmen (3) submitted by holger_rix on 23rd Mar 2009. Extended Dolmen in the Birkenmoor area, near Kuhholzberg.
Just 35m from the street, you have a nice view on the chocolate side
of this Dolmen when you drive by.
The two uprights of the southern side are missing, but the 2.5m by 1.5m
capstone is still resting safe. For sure a beauty to look at,
perfect for the history interested tourist.

Most likely the picture doesn't show the tomb. According to Sprockhoff's Atlas there should be enough remains to recognize a chamber, but the area is very rough with a number of bolders visible.
